To apply for membership, an application must be filled out and submitted with current proof of income and a $15 processing fee.
A credit check will be performed, and prospective members will be invited to an orientation session and an interview.
Once they are approved for membership, they will be placed on a waiting list until an appropriate unit become available.
Waiting lists can take 5-7 years to get through.
Members are expected to attend at least 1 general member’s meeting a year and participate in the semi-annual clean-up days, as well as join at least one committee.
Housing charges include water and cable. Members will need to pay their own electricity and gas bills as well as the hot water tank rental.
